Three consequences of international early childhood
studies:
Learning about the wide variety of organizations that are
available and how you can help to donate money or become a member to majority
of these websites such as NAEYC and UNICEF.
To discover that the United States is trending behind in
education compared to some countries.
I learned there are ways to communicate with other educators
international but it may be hard to come in contact with someone.
My goal is to continue reading articles and newsletters from
some of the websites I learned about from class.

ReplyDeleteI also found that it is difficult to get in touch with professionals in other countries. If it weren't for having a few friends in Japan, I might not have made contact with anyone. I tried emailing two different contacts at UNICEF and never heard back from either. Maybe that could also be a goal for the field; to strengthen communications among professionals internationally.
Andrea- I found it very difficult to get in touch with international contacts as well. I might suggest that Walden come up with another alternative to this assignment. I agree with the former post that it may be beneficial for Walden to really work with other organizations to gain a better collaboration with among the international community. Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteI think it was difficult for several of our colleagues to come in contact with international professionals. Maybe if we keep trying the effort will soon pay off.
